Lake Powell, 24th, Causey....

Lake Powell is always so-o much fun, and

this year was no exception! We loved it, a lot

of the pictures are out of order, so just go with it!

Grandpa can somehow handle three, who knows what

is going to happen in december when #4 comes? grow

an extra arm maybe?!

The girls loved tubing! lexi has become a maniac.

she is always doing her "tricks" on the tube, standing

up, jumping, no hands, dragging her feet in the water!

She has no fear... I'm kinda worried about that!

Always sleep with one eye open!

And we had a ton of fun at causey too. Its so nice
being out of cell service, and just spending a weekend
4-wheeling, playing games, laughing and eating!

Not to mention its gorgeous up there!

Ayla LOVES riding the vrooms!

We celebrated the 24th in style again!

at the bear river celebration, doesn't get

better than that! Our 10 minute parade, small

booths, mutton bust, auction, talent show, its all

so fun!

When we got back from lake powell lexi must

have been really having withdrawls from the water.

I walked into the kitchen & she was sitting in the cooler

(still full of ice water) and saying she missed her houseboat!

more like "where in the heck is my freakin' houseboat?!"

and our TWO year old WAKEBOARDED! woo hoo!

our kid is the coolest (we think anyways!)

She wasn't so sure of it at first! ...

yup we're the mean parents, but its okay

it paid off!

She's a little fish! she loved the water, loved making

castles, collecting shells etc. She learned how to float on

her own and kick on her own to get where she wanted

(on her own meaning with a life jacket, but no help :)

Everynight she went to sleep alone, and in the morning

she wasn't alone...WIERD! after the first night we asked

grandpa if she had just climbed in with him.. he hesitated

then mumbled "kinda." yup we know how that works. oh well,

she loved it!

And i got to spend a lot of time doing this...

whatever this is. i'm an alligator or something!

This cute swimsuit she has just doesn't fit right.

The bottoms DO NOT stay up, so we all get the cute

view of an adorable bum all day. Everyone would

notice and point it out in a nice way, thinking she's

just cute as can be waddling around with her toosh

showing behind her. One of the days when i put on

a different swimsuit lexi looked at me so concerned

and said "peoples laugh at my swimsuit today too!?"

Oh i dont ever want to send her to school where she could

get her tender heart broken, by kids that are actually meaning

it mean. That gave me a taste of the next 10 years, and my

heart broke. anyone wanna do home school?!

The night before the 24th Bear River

had a movie in the park that was a lot of fun.

(probably more so for people who weren't by us,

so they could actually hear over our crew) but

the idea was still fun!!

Ray & Cody made lexi a fancy new bed that she loves,

But while they were setting up nicole got to be lexi's

victim to paint nails!

She should be making money in no time!

practice makes perfect!

yup, if i had that outfit i would strut like that too ya-ya!

We got to go to cali to hang out with the andersons for

a few days! the drive was worth it to be able to enjoy

this awesome company!

These two did remarkably well in the car for so long!

i think we heard less complaining from them than from

the rest of us adults!

jackson LOVED the little dollar store dolls even more than

lexi. probably because his came with a mirror that helped

him do his hair so pretty!!

Yup, i did it again, i'm very far behind on my blogging!

Lexi Jamie Winn has lived to see 2 years (although

if you ask she'll say "i be two months old").. there were

days i just didn't see that happening :) "i just kiddin" -

(one of her favorite sayings now). She is still a

gigantic tomboy, loves buzz, woody, cars, dirt, bugs...

anything boy! however finally figured out what a princess

is, and is slowly becoming fonder of them. She is still

a social butterfly, she loves playing with her cousins & friends

more than anything. She partied hard for her birthday,

She had a fun ladybug party with the winn side and

got to share a carnival party with ayla and cole for the

petersen side! She loved both and got overly spoiled!

*when grandpa got her to go on it,

after my failed attempt (in my clothes!)

And grandma knows her "sweet little girl" would

love a buzz and woody table! boy was she right!

nicole and ray really pulled through with providing

an awesome bounce house to celebrate in style!

lexi loved her "party house" and we had it up for three days straight!

(i was slightly excited to see it go since that meant i was in

it for three days straight too!)

And nicole made another awesome cake!!

i hate cutting them up every single time!

Lexi and Mads sure love each other,

Halli is keeping safe distance but is equally loved :)

We filled lexi's room with balloons on "birthday eve!"

If you want to see an elated 2 year old just spend 2 hours

blowing up balloons and you'll have it made!!

Day in & Day out lexi does the cutest simple things

that make me stop hurrying around, and think..

"i really must be the luckiest mommy!"

she loves licking her bowl clean!!

Jackson loves lexi's princess stroller! such a stud!!

And nicole helped me make this awesome buzz and woody

cake too!! (okay nicole did most of it, but still at least

i participated this time!) And ashley put me to

shame making the cutest minnie mouse cake on her own!

i was so excited to see that tradition from last year

continues, a boat ride canget lexi to sleep EVERYTIME!

turned out a little chillier than it was at the time

we began planning our adventure. but it was still fun

lexi loved helping me blow out my candles

what would we do without sister's like nicole to
make fabulous cakes like these! i LOVED it, how creative
is she!? i know, you're all jealous right now. i didn't
even want to cut it up to eat it!

i have a lot of pictures of legs... and backs of heads...enjoy :)

I'm pretty sure that lex and madi are doing the "L" for

loser... they learned early about that :)

he got smothered for his birthday (just like every other day they see him!)

And nicole ...being nicole! gotta love her, she keeps

things exciting! Surprise surprise, after swimming

with the dead bodies she got the flu within 48 hours!

Easter

Lexi was at such a fun age for easter this year. She

started to understand the point of picking up eggs, and

even better that when you throw them at the floor they

explode and candy will go everywhere! Best of

all she got to spend lots of time with family, and

nothing makes this little bug happier than her "buddies"

as she likes to call them (who wouldn't wanna be her "buddy"!?)

She loved the barkers little chicks, enough that

she convinced her dad to get her some a couple weeks later!

now we just gotta work on the dog :) we can do it!

(i can do anything, remember i am updating months of pictures)

My little sweetheart can manage to really

tick off andy, even without trying. She found the

"golden egg" within about 30 seconds of looking.

And didn't quite understand what it was

she found or why there wasn't candy in it. however

the older kids definately understood...

And out of her basket stuffed full of fun toys

and treats that i had been gathering for months,

all she wanted were those stinking orange tic-tacs

(a.k.a. bumpa treats! she tries to convince me to

buy her some everytime we are in the store, and

after i convince her she doesn't need them, she very

tactfully reminds me that "bumpa would really need

some for his pockets!" ... always looking out for others, this one!)

Okay, I have been a slacker!! its been at least a couple months since i've shared the happenings of my bug's life with everyone on here, and the further behind i get, the less i want to do it. Knowing that i have that much more i would have to catch up on. I would much rather spend my time enjoying my moments with her, than trying to type about it & missing them (after all they're coming and going way too fast.. SHE'S ALREADY TWO!!!) blah. here we go, i can do it, i know i can... it just might take a few days.

Buggy loves wearing her daddy's hats now a days.

well any hat will do, but she has a special love for

her dads. And is aspiring to be a truck

driver when she grows up. Hopefully by then she

can get a bigger truck to ride, this one caused

way too much frustration.

Lets go fly a kite!

Lexi got a new buzz and woody kite from nana,

and loved going to the park to fly it!

She could not stop giggling, and shouting "buzz & woody

flying with da birdies!" She also wasn't very good at holding

onto the kite alone, so i spent most of the time chasing the

kite down, which she found equally as funny, and started

doing it on purpose. Our trip was shortlived, cause it turns

out when its that windy that us rookies can fly without

troubles, its also very cold!

We are working very hard on getting lexi

into her bed, alone.. without waking up wanting

to hold hands!! yes i know she is almost two..

but if you could've cuddled with her everynight

you would've done it too. this is harder

on me than it is on her i think. Anyways

she now gets bribed with BIG treats for BIG

girls who sleep in their own beds! And just like

me... she's a sucker for a good treat!

Just thought this little face should brighten all your

days as well!! :) dont you wish you could just squish her!

This & That

Its been a long time since i've updated, and i'm even

worse at keeping up with journaling/scrapbooking for

the buggy, i have to look back at the blog when i

finally get to the journal to try and remember

what she was doing and when. so i'm going to be throwing

random things in this post so when i look back in a year

i can remember what happened these few months. It feels

like she's done a ton and i cant keep up with it. I'm sure

every mom says this.. but my child has got to be a genius!

She can count to ten... well she could... some how we regressed

back to " One, Two, Seben, eight, TEN!!!" we did have it down

for a while. She always said "no" to everything, i'd say "do you mean

yes?" and she'd reply with "YES!" but now we have moved

onto "YES ABSOLUTELY!" (at the top of her lungs, everyone in

sacrament finds it hilarious-but us!) her other favorite words

are radical, wicked, sweet, tubular, coolest, and "rightet on".

Her dad finds it awfully amusing that she will say

anything he says.

She LOVES clothes (wonder where she got that?)

i no longer get to pick out her clothes, or my own.

she picks her favorite color of the day, and we are

both required to wear a shirt of that color. its much

easier to do what she wants when it comes to this,

otherwise what would take a few minutes to throw on

clothes can turn into fifteen minute tantrums!

Its surprising she has such an interest in clothes,

when she is already a tomboy in training. She loves

Buzz and woody, cars, and monsters! princesses are

at the bottom of the list, but at least she is aware of what

they are now. In this picture she had picked out

daddy's clothes for the day even though he was already at

work, so she took it upon herself to wear them for him.

She fit in one leg of his shorts and walked around in

them all day long!

If she could she would wear her "candy shirt" everyday

and everynight, and probably for bath time too.

She's got quite a sweet tooth on her! This shirt has to

be thrown in with every batch of laundry so that its clean

at least every other night.

While potty training she could never seem to get

her pants back up over her toosh... i just had to

show everyone else the cute view i had for a couple

weeks while she got the hang of pulling them all the way up!

Now she is quite proud of her buns and has them out

on purpose! Anytime she hears the word buns, she drops her

pants and panties turns around and pats her buns at whoever

is near. Cute around the house, however Raymond was

pretty traumatized, along with the nursery leader who was

playing peekaboo with lexi in nursery and one of the times she opened

the closet door lexi had her tights down and buns hanging out

for all to see...

she loves movies (does that say too much about my parenting?!)

And was so excited when dad showed up with a surprise for her-

(and me, its nice to not have to sing every second of every car ride!)

Lexi loves hiding anywhere she can... not so fun while shopping!

and all the grandkids have taken on the cabinet in nana's

entertainment center.. so much for movies down there.

She just takes a pillow in with her, shuts the door and gets comfy.

(and only sometimes forgotten!)

We went to toads with the barkers and bumpa.
Lexi loved grabbing everyones golf balls and throwing
them into the water, running away from bumpa,
and playing on all the toys! And we won
her a princess crown...

I guess with a cheeser like that you
can get what you want!

Our scary, dingy, dark, creepy, dirty basement
has been forced to take on new life! Surprising with
a little (okay a lot) of cleaning, and organizing it could
be livable! And lexi and i have spent more than our fair
share of time down there since i've been down painting
for the booth constantly! lexi has been a trooper, and
just loves to be down with me all day painting, playing toys,
watching movies, and eating cookies! Yes it does take
some bribery to keep a one year old entertained
by herself downstairs for 8 hours straight!

Nicole & Ray like to keep our lives exciting and keep us

out til all hours of the night sometimes - yup even past MIDNIGHT

on occasion! (okay one occasion, but for us lame-o's

thats a big step!) We went to nickelcade one night and lexi

once again loved the rides and running away from us...

but mostly loved putting money into the machines. even

if they were going all she wanted to do was keep putting

in money, like that was the fun part of the ride...hmmm.

too early to be obsessed with money, and that she is.

She always says "i need moneys, in buggy's pockets!"

Ayla has stopped running everytime she see's, hear's or senses

lexi's presence; And its so fun to watch them play together now.

Their sweet innocent little conversations are so entertaining

to listen to. Lexi even had her first cousin sleepover last

weekend with andy and ayla. More so with ashley since she ended

up sleeping on the floor with lexi, but we have worked even

harder at getting her to sleep in her own bed, all alone now,

so bring on the sleepovers!

My little chef! anytime we walk into the kitchen,

even if its just to get a drink out of the fridge she

asks for her apron. What a great christmas present

nana gave! perfect for these little girls! (And for anyone

else that wants to go to quilted bear and buy one... wink wink!) haha

Nana has been going through their boxes in the shed

to find all of our american girl dolls we had growing up.

We have found my desk, but my doll is still M.I.A.

Lexi is fine with just the desk though...

until she gets stuck...EVERYTIME!!! it doesn't end well.

The desk has been put away for a while.. until

common sense kicks in a little more.

GO COLTS! Although the superbowl was over a

month ago, and we know the sad outcome, we'll still

cheer on peyton! lexi was decked out in her blue..

fingernails, facepaint and all for the superbowl party.

But grandpa had just got back from brazil and brought her

this shirt... so of course she had to wear it right then. at

least the rest of the blue stayed! maddi and kiwi

are always such good babysitters! They've made

me consider waiting til lexi is 8 to have the next

kid so i can have a babysitter too.. just sit back and relax :)

her first day with the potty! She got to pick her

own potty and of course she picked the plain blue

one. didn't want the cute pink, or

even the blue one that sings... she picks the most boy
one that she can find! And princess underwear just

wouldn't cut it, she would throw the cars and toy

story boxers in the cart faster than i could take them out.

so buzz and woody it is. also shocking to the nursery

leader when she says "i've got woody in my pants!"

I'm pretty sure that she will have a heartattack soon

enough in there due to my child.

(and of course the candy shirt!)

isn't she just precious?!!?

And another good robison babysitter. Its always

the best thing for lexi to have cousins over to play with.

She'll do anything with them, even nap! (which at this point

was a big deal since she had decided she was done with them

for a LONG few weeks!)

Lexi ADORES grandpa... and he will do just about

anything she tells him to do. (which i think is part of the

adoration) He'll hide under the kitchen table, play in her room

for hours, hide under her bed.. etc. The other day we

were at his house and when we were ready to leave she just

kept saying "no thanks, buggy stay here" and when we tried

to just grab her and go, she ran to hide under the kitchen sink...

She won, grandpa played with lexi for the day! and when they

came back late that night i was so excited to see her, ran outside

to grab her and she wouldn't let me touch her, ONLY GRANDPA!

Homebound fun

Lexi putting on daddy's boots. She wakes up

every morning asking to go "bye bye." I guess

i'm not as entertaining as i like to think i am :)

To her disappointment we cant always be going

somewhere, so she likes to take matter into her

own hands by putting on her own shoes and

heading out. She has even figured out how to

open the door in the last couple weeks..

I'm sure she'll make a break for it soon enough.

Luckily Dad's work boots are too heavy for her

to lift, she just got stuck there.

I pulled out this table to clean all the toys

out from under it and try to organize them,

(didn't even last 24 hours). When i came back

in the room lexi had climbed right in and fell

asleep, for about 30 seconds, then she realized

i was taking pictures and couldn't miss the photo op.

Popped right up yelling "cheese" "cute" "awww"

She must be used to being adored!

Lexi loves helping me cook, and is now well

aware that the oven is hot and i use the gloves

when i'm getting in it. So lately she's started pulling

out the gloves and starts yelling "HOT HOT!

NO NO MAMA, WATCHIT" ..clearly i got my point

across to her.

Lexi loved when the Anderson's were here, because

it meant she got to play with her cousins constantly!

She definately loves having friends around, and

couldn't have been happier with them.
Lexi was issy's shadow when she was at our house.

Even while she was playing checkers lexi managed to

get onto the same seat and cheer her on!

Christmas

We had so much fun with Christmas this year. We

had lots of family parties, most of which we were too busy

talking to take pictures, so we'll just have to hope our

memories hold up well. Christmas has never been so..

magical, wonderful and fun until our buggy came along.

She makes even the best of things better! Our pictures

are going in reverse starting with christmas night, and

working its way back to christmas eve. It was our year

to have Christmas dinner at our house with the winns.

And christmas eve was at nana & bumpas with all of

our beloved traditions!

Lexi was a good monitor of the food, and really liked

feeding anybody who would walk by. Halli was just

happy to be getting something to eat.

seven layer dip, lexi turns it into six layer dip in a

hurry because she sits and picks off all the olives.

She can sit down and eat a can just for a snack.

Christmas was no exception.

The anticipation is killing everyone (ps anyone who got

pictures from that night, please send them to me. I dont even

have any from the "treasure hunt" barefoot in the snow!)

Cody was beating the mash potatoes and yet

another set of beaters broke on us..

All the boys pick out a present for tess every

year in hopes of making her cry on christmas eve.

Little did they know that she is into super ugly hats!

Me and my mom had to search for one just like this

just before, because its what she had asked santa for..

and the north pole doesn't do ugly!

The christmas eve jammies (shirt anyways), apron & jewelry

from nana. what an ensemble, my girl has the best of taste!

We let the kids open their cousin presents early

on christmas eve so they would have some entertainment

(more for our sake) the "christmas spirit" in kids can get

quite rowdy! lexi loved her princesses from ayla

Once lexi got a hang of cutting cookies she was a maniac.

As soon as i got the dough rolled she was slapping the cutters

down faster than i could grab them, she was 2 handing it..

We had lots of "special" shapes. But she was so proud of herself.

Thanksgiving and a Christmas Kick off!

we have had a good holiday season so far. We

started it out with "pie day" all wednesday, and

sweet nicole let us tear apart her house (and some

of her appliances, but it was nice to be one with the

pioneers.) And it was our year with the "petersen" side..

along with everyone else's.

so we had quite the crowd to celebrate

with. we had a yummy thanksgiving dinner,

accompanied with football and ad searching. Then

Lexi had her first sleepover, so that cody and i could

go shopping at 5 am. i kept warning him that he didn't

want to come (for both of our sakes) since he

doesn't even like normal shopping, let alone black

friday shopping. But he was awesome! i had to have had

the best hubby out there. he was so good at grabbing

anything i pointed out, when i told him i needed a

size he would grab every boot in that size throughout

the store to see which i would prefer, and any toy

we wanted for lexi he was grabbing anything similar

to it. I got myself a new shopping partner WOO WOO!

and later that day we had the petersen christmas party,

since jen's family wouldn't be back out til after christmas.

santa even came to put the fear into all the toddlers, and

joy to the rest of the kids... the pictures are all

out of order, and i'm not organizing them, so enjoy!

this is lexi new favorite place to play.. nana's pantry's.

If you see her in one, you should run because she

will beg anyone to go in with her and assign seats to

whoever obeyed, and then she does not let you leave.

she found bumpa's head light, and also

found that the faster she ran to chase that

wierd red light on the wall, the faster the

red light on the wall moved... crazy!

santa really put the fear in lexi.. she must have really

been naughtier than even we thought if she was so scared.

and he gave issy quite a bit to think about

cole just wanted "CARS" and made that

pretty clear since thats all he would say to him

our newly adopted kiwi has nothing to be

worried about, she'll always be on the nice list

looks like someone really can scare brookie, who knew!?

jackson wasn't really scared, jacque just really wanted

to sit on santa's lap!

And ayla hated to even look at santa, it was quite

devastating.

i dunno about yours, but our little girl is made

of lots of sugar and a little salt! i was planning

on a soccer player, however i think i

have a dancer on my hands! first i was a little

"unsupportive" of all the dress ups and dancing,

however while we were setting up our christmas

tree and listening to the forgotten carols (one of my

favorite times during christmas) i looked over to her

spinning in circles in front of the tree, trying

to watch herself in the ornaments and i couldn't

help but think a "princess" is just what we need!

she loves dancing with her daddy

dress up gets more and more interesting

everyday. she loves her cowgirl boots with any

of her dress ups! She also has a tote in her bedroom

that i throw her outgrown clothes into as we come

across them and just wait til it gets full.. well she

is pretty sure she always needs to wear a swimsuit,

with a snow hat and her boots, or any other odd

apparel she can throw together!

tess was quite the good sport being crippled and still

cheering on her team, and boy was it thrilling to go

cheer her on for cheering on her team!

lexi loved that another soccer mom kept giving her

these cheese puff ball things that were the size

of her entire mouth!

2 years ago today we became "the winns"

and it still feels like it was just a couple days ago!

I'm so lucky to be sealed to my bestie forever!

and to someone who can calm me down so

easily when my worlds falling apart temporarily

because i burnt the dessert! He is my perfect

"other half"! i'm so excited to see where we are

in 20 years... but dont want to get there too fast,

i'm still enjoying every day with my love!

Sleepover with Ayla

Ayla came to have a sleepover with us last

week and lexi couldn't have been more thrilled!!

She loves having her cousins around. They played

lots of babies, taking their babies for walks, house,

dress ups, kitchen, etc. Lexi would sure appreciate

a baby brother or sister so she could always have a friend,

but thats not happening anytime soon... so if you guys

could keep donating your kids to "lexi time" we would

really appreciate it :)

Lava Hot Springs

we went to lava for the staple family reunion,

and had another weekend of four wheeling,

food and fun!

Lexi loved the slide off the side of the house

and susie's big human elastic thingy. dad did an

extraordinary job pulling us around

and since lexi got to go for a ride, there was

no telling scott no... so raymond jumped in to help out

now she's just showing off!

everytime cody would stop lexi would

do her cute sign language for "more" and cody

would give in, what a good dad!

what the elastic was really made for, if you haven't

seen one of these, you put 4 people in them and the 2 people

across from eachother run at the same time, then the next two...

shooting the others back across until someone flies out.

It's very entertaining to watch...

Lexi loved having madi and halli there. she loves

playing with them!!

COUNTY FAIR!!

this post is a little late... but oh well! we all had fun

at the fair this year... actually i think this year was

the most fun i have ever had at the fair! it is so

much fun to watch lexi doing things now, and loving them!

All the kids anxious for the parade to start!

everyone enjoyed the popsicles

andy was so funny, after anyone would

walk up and give him candy we would all say thanks,

and as they turned away andy would squirt him...

as ashley said its cute this year, annoying next year when

he's a little older.. or as in bumpas case almost 50 years older

and still squirting people in the parade!

so lets go to grandpa to open this taffy up!

the girls went on the train ride that we were sure they

would love... clearly we were wrong in both of their cases

lexi did love the carousel though, and went on it about 6

times! and she did later go on another kid ride with madi

and actually really loved it!

Lake Powell #1

We had another super fun week at lake powell

with the winns... the pictures dont even reflect

half the party we had going on :) and this is just the

first half, i still need to get the other half...

but it was such a blast, thank you grandma and grandpa!

our water baby constantly wanted in the "pool"

so she was fashioning this saggy diaper quite often..

how cute are those buns?!

lex always wanted on the beach, to get

muddy and wash, get muddy and wash..

over and over. Nicole helped in the getting

muddy process this time :)

so one day they had to take the houseboat to

"unload" at the poop dock and left me, lexi, ray and

nicole to guard our spot. two hours later when they came

back, without any instruction, lexi bent over and mooned

the houseboat coming in with her bare buns (somewhat

like ray is doing in this picture.) well i didn't have the camera

so tried to get her to do it again, and ray was helping her too..

i think she finds it amusing what she can get adults to do..

thats what she's thinking in this picture...

BEACH BUMS

when lexi wasn't on the beach, this was

definately a favorite, smashing her face into the door

( in hopes of getting outside)

cody and grandpa. as they said when i was taking

the picture.. "is that a camera or a studfinder?"

just loved her

for some reason lex liked to trap herself under the

every year has to have one storm...

briggs and lexi giving cuddles. it was funny to watch

the kids together, trying to eat and feed eachother,

do kung fu panda moves with kregg, feed fish, build

sand castles etc..

brooklyn..who believe it or not is a JUNIOR...

in high school, not college ( i know its shocking)

was lexi's buddy on the trip. she even taught lexi

sign language in minutes... quite impressive.

as you can see brady just flipped over

laurens head and she put a stop to it by saying

"brady this is getting way out of hand, and you are

playing quite to rough, if you continu acting like this

we will all have to stop!" :)

kregg said he was just helping the kids build this castle...

really it was just entertainment for him. but still

quite impressive

lexi is famous for her "i wanna dance" or

"i NEED to dance" so katie had matt put some

"dancing" music on her ipod for lexi to breakdown

to. about ten at night they turned it on, she hopped

right up on the table and entertained for about half hour.

Lexi had tears down all our faces from laughing so hard.

and grandma was her dancing partner, lexi would

copy anything grandma did. we didn't get it recorded until

the end of her dancing, so we'll have to get a copy

of the beginning and let you see before the energy

began to fade.

Bear River's 24th

Since we moved in back in january, the first thing

anybody told us about when meeting them, was that

the 24th celebration was the biggest thing that

happens out in bear river all year long, and that there

is no way we could miss the celebrations! So we took

their word for it, and the nielsens are hick at heart

so they joined us! started with a parade early in

the morning that was two blocks long, and lasted

for maybe 15 minutes, but it was still fun! instead

of having floats of schools and teams etc, they just

have families on floats! its so funny! and since its

not such a huge parade, they were even throwing

full candy bars! Then we had fun the rest of the day

watching softball games, talent shows, baby contests,

and they had lots of races and dunking booths etc we'll

need to take part in next year.

Lexi and Ayla had fun together, and would attempt

to hold hands regularly..didn't really work out too well

for them to walk and hold hands though, but oh well.

Then they would change their mind about holding hands

"okay, sorry lets make up cousin"

ayla is done "making up" but lexi is loving the loves

"COME ON MOM THERE IS THINGS TO BE DOING!"

(dont worry, i introduced ashley to hairspray shortly

after this, so ayla should be able to enjoy playing

instead of getting her hair done so much :)

lexi loves getting into strollers, it was really hard
to keep her out of everyones at the park.
but ayla was less than thrilled when lexi climbed
in hers.

andy even did the mutton bust! it was so entertaining!

after deciding he was going to do it, they had him

practice on lexi's rocking horse while shaking it.

and ashley fretted about forgetting their "cowboy apparel"

because he looked like such a "city boy." but nothing

could stop andy after it was set in his mind...

the boys scouting out the competition..

after watching the first kid go out and get thrown

off, all the kids and parents waiting for their turn

got a little bit more nervous. and we were pretty sure

that andy was going to back out, so
they needed to bring over the professional (lexi)

to get her opinion.

and he did it, woo hoo! he didn't even cry! when

he came back over and we asked him if it was fun

he said "well i really didn't like falling off" when

ash said " you didn't even fall off andy" he said

"well i didn't like ALMOST falling off!"

he even did better than our friends little boy,

who we could hear screaming and crying from across

the arena when it was his turn! he made us proud!

if you listen close you can hear the announcer say

"this is andy nielsen, he's even got his hat on

backwards for the aerodynamics."

when they fell off, she was pretty concerned

about where they went though! and when it

was mom or dad that fell off she was more

Happy fathers day to cody! he's so sweet

Our pineveiw camping trip got rained out and

turned into a causey trip, which was still

super fun ( for those of us not stuck inside

throwing up, sorry) While the weather

was good we did lots of 4-wheeling, and

the kids LOVED it!

the girls still like each other enough to give

kisses, despite their nice bed head.

lexi seems to be quite adventurous and

usually leading someone behind her.

be friends once they are teenagers, worried

about what lexi will lead ayla to by then :)

Summer Fun

One of cody's favorite days came around again..

the salmon fry (i know fish is disgusting)

three! and had such a fun party, she loved her

GO #33! have you ever seen something so cute?

we're daddy's biggest fans at his softball games,

and lexi now has the jersey to prove it!

the birthday girls are ONE! woo hoo!

and the birthday boy is two! you can tell by the

look on his face that he wasn't thrilled to have his

face smashed into his cake. for some reason

ayla, lexi and cole all weren't too interested in

eating their own cake, which was quite frustrating

to the moms who stressed over the cakes for them!

she is already quite the photographer

and lexi loved her outfits from pops and tutu. She
wasn't too happy without her nap, and maybe that
added to it, but when you took that outfit out of
her hands to have her open something else you
were going to get an earful from her.

of course the robisons held up tradition with

a food fight

we once again resorted to the shovel to try

and get her eating more of her cake. it didn't

work as well as it did the first time

We had cole for a few days and lexi couldn't have been

more pleased! she loves having friends! they were

so good with eachother always sharing whatever

they had to eat or play with and following each other

around everywhere. They would just sit next to each

other and jabber.

so this is lexi's third time in the last few

months of going to get her pictures,

and she finally did good!! i was so thrilled.

and i think they turned out so darn cute!

(maybe thats just because you cant see

tears in all her pictures this time for a change)

so i started trying to get her to smell

the flowers in the yard the last couple weeks

and everytime she just blows on them, i think

she's really confused. her way of smelling anything

is blowing on it. thats how she was smelling all the

wax things at quilted bear for about an hour after

these too. but in this picture you can see her

"smelling" the flowers, in her own cute way

LEXI'S LUAU!

The birthday girl was getting a picture with her

cake nicole made her and decided to take a sneak peek of it...

She also decided to take a sneak peek of her presents
when no one was watching. i look over after she has
started ripping them out of bags, and nicole is just
laughing and taking pictures, and said lexi was
sure to look around and make sure no one was
watching before she would grab it outon to the next present..

and she got caught

lexi trying to blow out the candles on her cake,

dont feel bad ashley lexi grabbed the candle too. but

the pain was phased out by the excitement of the cake.

after the first bites she kept saying "mmmm"

she was done with trying to do the dainty hand scoops..

onto the shovel!

And then the next idea hit her... transfer everything to

the bucket. thats what she does when we are weeding

outside, i pull weeds and put them in my trash bucket, and

she pulls them back out and puts them in her own bucket.

that rule must apply to all things even birthday cake.

Nicole thought all her hard work wasn't paying off, since

she wasn't messy all over, and after all that was the

point of doing chocolate, so nicole got to work... it looks

like lexi is thinking "oh boy is mom going to kill you" in this

picture, but then it shifted to thinking its pretty funny

one was opened. this time they were working

on the new crayons.

And opening one of lexi's two teasets. they

must know her really well because every present

was a hit with lexi, and the teaset which she really

started loving this last week she even got two of :)

And her very own VROOM VROOM!

WOO HOO!!! she was so thrilled with herself, and

figured out the gas button right away and was on her way!

she even got yellow to match ours.

just digging around! it was so amazing lexi was playing

with everyone else, and didn't need me or cody there!

i couldn't have been more happy!

She loved playing with nicole, and once we had a good

thing going we weren't going to risk ending it and it not

coming back, so poor nicole was stuck with her for a while!

And maddi really wanted to ride around on the

4 wheeler too, so they doubled up

And lexi is still loving her baby stroller from nana and bumpa.

MY BABY'S FIRST BIRTHDAY!

So there are horses just behind our backyard that lexi

loves to go look at. we take her up to the fence and she

latches her hands and feet onto the chainlinks, and i can

completely let go she just perches there. We thought she'd

be pretty excited to actually get to ride one, so we went down

to a friends house who has some and let her at it. She

thought she was pretty cool up there with daddy!

When we watched jackson this week lexi was QUITE helpful.

anytime that any noise came out of his mouth she was pulling

out a binkie and putting it in his mouth, or trying to give him

a bottle, or just holding his hand and enduring his pain with him.

It was cute to see the two interact, Jackson would just smile at

her and she would be so thrilled! this was when she was either

listening to him, or letting him kiss her cheek.

Cuddles for the baby!

Mothers day with the Winn side we went to morgan

for a 4-wheeling ride and dinner. Everyone had fun on

the ride, and me and jodi had our own party while

they went since lexi and halli weren't quite big enough yet.

AND LEXI'S BIRTHDAY WAS YESTERDAY! can you

believe it, my BABY is one year old! i think that technically

makes her not a baby anymore, but i gotta tell you, she'll

still be our baby for a few more years! But she had quite

the fun day, her dad brought her breakfast in bed (fruitsnacks),

We went and ate a birthday lunch with dad, then went to kings

and just let her play with all the toys until she picked out a present

for her and ayla. it did take a few hours, but she loved it. cheap

entertainment i guess. there were just too many dolls that needed

hugging, balls needed bouncing, pools needed to be sat in, strollers

need pushed and little shopping carts needed tipped over. Then

we went on a vroom vroom ride and...

Then aunt tess brought her some balloons which were

quite the entertainment for lexi.

And we played in her pool for a while! Such

a fun day

Good, Clean (?), Fun!

Lexi was anxiously waiting for THE ZOO!

little did we know the zoo in logan sucks,

so we'll have to take her to hogle zoo soon

since she's crazy about animals!

Lexi loves her little cousin Jackson, and

he just likes to pretend that he doesn't like

being mauled by everyone :)
This is what the "clean (?)" was about...

you will rarely see lex without food on her face

or her hair pulled out and all over from

"doing her hair so pretty" or without mud all

over her since she is determined to get down everytime

we're outside and wont walk! But she especially

loves to help me cook, and always knows just what

to snatch while we're cooking so that she gets some

cookiedough all over!

This was after raisin bran one morning...

she has to dig through the piles we put on her

tray and make sure she has out all the raisins

before she will eat the other stuff. It also

backs up the "clean (?)"

Yay for the graduate! doesn't she look

like a bahama mama before she even

made it to the bahamas? tricky!

yes, she's finally walking down there. The ceremony

seemed to go a little bit long since some of the speakers

went on forever, and andy kept asking why wont mom

just finally go down there! look at that she listened and

finally went down!

4 wheeler

Cody and Steve found a pair of 4wheelers for us to

get, and lucky for cody it was on my birthday when

they were going to pick them up, so it was like

i was getting extra spoiled on for my birthday haha.

Well Jodi and I thought that it would only take maybe an

hour to pick them up and then we could go for a ride so

we went along, little did we know that "playing hard to

get" can take HOURS.. and it was a very warm day outside.

poor jodi had to deal with maddi and halli outside the whole

time. but it was still a way fun day just hanging out.

We went to firehouse pizza for lunch...

WHILE playing hard to get, just to really get the

place worried we wouldn't buy them or something..

who really knows. but it was so yummy, lexi LOVED

her olives they gave her, she polished them off and kept

looking for more, this is her cuddling her olive container.

Deal or No Deal Easter Style

we had everyone over for the the winn's easter/april

birthdays today and it was so much fun! jodi and steve

did the easter egg hunt and told everyone that we

each got six eggs. you think that would be easy math

right? once everyone has six we were done. but simple

math clearly wasn't our strong suit, it took a while to

count up all the eggs and see if we had the right amount.

We were about ready to lay them all out in a row so we

could have a visual to count out. BUT WE GOT IT

WOO HOO!
They put a twist to easter though.. one of the eggs had

a golden coin in it, and whoever found that egg got

to be the contestant in DEAL OR NO DEAL! and believe it

or not CODY WON and got to play! woo hoo!

since steve is known to be the negotiator!

steve and jodi put up $100

for it, and he ended up with $50. i think we were on the

better end of the deal, but it was so much fun!! and

pretty intense, i can only imagine what it would be like

on the show going for 1 million haha! but thanks steve

and jodi it was way fun

(the $100's are just for a more dramatic effect,

luckily steve just carries those around with him!)

Lexi loves her new easter basket! she wouldn't

let go of it the whole time we were outside and

once we got inside she just sat and played with her eggs

Halli is such a happy baby! it is so much fun to

watch her giggle! you can see in here she's got

a big grin behind her binkie while she just

hangs out with grandma reminding cody the whole game

that the "$100 is still there, no deal!" :)

it was pretty funny cody got down to the last 2

eggs and it was 10 cents or 100 bucks!

while cody was gone to island park for work

we went to go get lexi's pictures taken for

his easter basket. needless to say it didn't

go so well... from the whole thing these were

our only pictures, and one of them shows

what she was really like most of the time.

in her defense, the next day is when she

started throwing up so she probably didn't

feel great this day either!

have a sleepover, so we worked on ash until

she caved! and it was so much fun! Lexi

was so thrilled!

Andy came and played with us for

a little bit yesterday and of course Lexi

was thrilled... not too sure about andy.

It started out good since we were watching

transformers, and then lexi found the buttons

on the side of the t.v. that kept switching it on us.

so Andy stood gaurd of the buttons. Turned

out to be a pretty good battle. Lexi wasn't

responding to "the force" being put on her

though, which wasreally frustrating to andy.

lexi's new entertainment... emptying the bag out,

filling it up and starting over!

She played hard at jackson's blessing and zonked
out on the way home.

The New and Improved boogie. I'm having a hard

time getting it on camera because as soon as

she see's me holding the camera she gets distracted..

but this kind of gives you the idea. she sticks her arms

out as wide as she can and shakes her head side to side

and her whole body goes with her, we can figure out

why she doesn't end up falling over everytime.

Andy wanted to play a game while he was here

and chose twister, i kept warning him that he would

be really annoyed trying to play it because lexi

would want to help and she would climb all over the

mat, but he wanted to anyways... after a few minutes

of him unsuccessfully keeping the mat straight thanks

to lexi he started pulling her around on the mat.. then decided

he wanted a ride too so they went together! Lexi was so

thrilled to have a friend there to play with, she loves

being around little kids.

Lexi went on her first 4-wheeler ride this weekend

and LOVED it!! we went down to the gas

station/post office/po box/scrapbooking store (i just

had to throw all that in there for the nielsen's sake) and

Lexi was just waving at everyone we passed and

couldn't stop laughing, she probably caught a few

bugs in the mouth since she wouldn't shut it!

when you play hard you crash hard

lexi has become quite the climbing maniac. she's
figuring out how to open up all the drawers to make steps
and try to make it to the countertop.

Nana's purse was getting reorganized by the girls
while prom dress shopping.

Lexi is pretty excited about being a big girl and

flipped around in her car seat!

into our lives! now she's a big girl

Lexi loves sharing her food with everyone, in church

she stands on the pew and tries to feed her treats

to the people behind us, especially when they are her friends

like Austin.

who needs baby food? lexi sure thinks

she doesn't, after trying to get her to eat all

day long with no success i set her down on the

counter next to me while i made dinner and

she chowed down on her daddy's top ramen

he had left on the counter. you snooze you loose!

at least she's offering to share a big handful with him

lexi's pretty into this sharing thing. granted

she still yanks things out of her cousins and

friends hands, but she'll still want to feed anyone

anything that she is eating!

Since lexi's favorite game has been pulling everything

out of laundry baskets, bowls of food, boxes of toys etc..

this is a nice change that she is beginning to learn

to put things back in... like she's doing in this picture..

it is a little short lived though, she quickly gets

sick of that and returns to pulling twice as much out.

We're still working on it, one step forward two steps

back right?

you have got to be kidding me!!!

within a two hour time frame of being outside this

was the THIRD snake we came across! this was nowhere

in all the papers we signed when we bought the house! dont you

think they should warn you about these things!? is it too late

to return our home? So i was informed that they are blow

snakes and not to hurt them because they will kill rattlesnakes!

you've gotta be kidding me again, if a rattlesnake can kill me

and this can kill a rattlesnake... what does that tell you!

yup, this guy gets hungry enough and i'm lookin like a

tasty lunch! good thing i have brave cody to catch them.

Gardening Adventures

We've been so excited to get outside and get working in

our yard! (i'm sure that will get old really fast, but

we're just going to enjoy it while it lasts) Since the weather

has been so nice this week we've spent EVERYDAY out

in the yard, and we're still not even done with the front,

what a drag! anyways here are some of our fun times....

Since we never do anything downstairs, lexi hasn't been

around any stairs so i figured she didn't know how to do them.

I was proven wrong, without hesitating she was right up

the front steps and pretty proud of herself too. I did set

up a blanket out there with tons of toys to keep her entertained

but of course lexi wanted to be everywhere but on the safe,

clean blanket.

Me and Lex just enjoying a little hay/grass/ flower/ plant..

food, who really knows what is what. i'm sure that i have

pulled out plenty of things that i assumed were weeds and

they were really flowers... who knows.. who really cares, at

least we finally got to get going.

Nana tickling bug

Thank heavens for mom. i would still be standing in front of

all the rose bushes with a confused look on my face, trying

to figure out what this "dead heading" is people keep speaking of

yummy!

Lexi's new friend, she loved this puppy, he was just the

right size. There is another neighbor dog that she really

likes until he comes up and knocks her over. But this little

dog is her friend. she even shares her toys with him. and

when he's licking her she just laughs and laughs!

HOLY ....SNAKE! yeah and it TOUCHED me! GROSS!

there goes the gardening ambition! looks like grass

will be replacing everything!!!

We went down to the Barkers last night for

family night to see the beginning of the farm. Lexi and Ayla

weren't to sure about touching the chicks, and with

a little bribery to andy he even let the chick sit

on his shoulder like Jack Sparrow. But Lexi

didn't need the chicks for entertainment, she

was all about playing with Ayla. after they got

done ripping the bag of food out of eachother's

hands, (when do you teach them manners anyways?)

they moved onto this.... Lexi hugging ayla non stop and

Ayla wasn't really too sure about it as you can tell from

that concerned dissatisfied face. Ashley probably wont

let ayla come play with us alone for awhile...sorry. but

it was good entertainment.

No this isn't all the same picture, Lexi continued to do

this for about 5-10 minutes, so these are all separate

times.

Poor Ayla

Since the weather has been warming up we lke to take
tours of our backyard and realize that we're over
our heads in yard work. we are calling on farmer tyson
and nana for assistance..and any others that would lke a little
"fun" in the sun! we aren't even quite sure the difference in
the weeds and flowers.. crap! we get really excited about
our options everytime we're inside and talking about it..
then we wonder outside... it is quickly a sobering experience.

Some more boogying!

this one is a little short lived. Normally it lasts for
quite a few minutes with a lot more squealing..
sometimes A.D.D gets the best of her

We got Lexi's ears pierced, and i dont know

who it was harder for, Cody or Lexi. Although

we took her down there together, cody would

not stay in the store with me, and i'm pretty

sure he was a little mad at me! Lexi cried for

about 2 seconds and then got her sucker and

it did not phase her from then on!

She's learning young beauty is pain!

she's thinking that looks really yummy..

Simple Pleasure

Every Wednesday is a good day for Lexi because its

garbage day. sound stupid i know. but for a little

girl who loves outside and loves time with her

daddy, it just cant get much better. as you can

see by the smile on her face!

Lexi loves to help do laundry. i set the basket on the bed

and her next to it and she emptys it as fast as possible.

such a fun game for everyone!! not! once the basket

is empty she turns to throwing the folded clothes on

the bed over her shoulders as fast as possible. so to distract

her cody puts the laundry on her head... thats what

the first video is, dad and lexi's game..that can

entertain lexi for quite a long time!

These other video's are of lexi and her butterfly,

everytime that you touch it, it plays music and

moves... so does lexi. the butterfly cant be going

without her dancin along, even if they are in different

rooms. She isn't doing it to her full potential in these

because the camera is so distracting, but you get the idea.

and just to warn you, you probably want to turn your volume

down a little because shes across the room, so i sound

really loud when it plays :)

Kiss The Cook

All of our neighbors have been so nice bringing

us treats since we moved in, so Lexi helped me

bake up a storm to take some treats back around.

She LOVED the beaters, as you can see in the

movie at the bottom, she definately didn't

want to give them up.

After i finally got the beaters from her,

she moved onto the crumbs on the counter.

cant beat cookie dough!!

wiping her hands and off to the next task...

This next task is her absolute favorite of the week!

She loves the microwave. The blinking light is so

cool, plus the light on the inside, and it spins! so

entertaining!

We're working on getting lexi off bottles, and we're

actually getting close! woo hoo! so she's got herself

onto the next great thing. a waterbottle! it is

about as big as her!

but she can still dominate it!

Kay and the girls stopped by and lexi was
quite pleased! she sat and kissed kiwi for
about 15 minutes!

"OW! SHE BITES HARD!" lexi likes to sneak attack.

TRAPPED

Lexi likes to crawl under the chairs somehow and

always gets stuck.. it still wont stop her from doing

it next time though. This one is probably when she's

yelling "DADADA" to come save her.

Daddy was sitting on the counter so of

course Lexi wanted to sit by him.

And daddy had a phone so of course Lexi

wanted a phone...

We're a little worried that she is already obsessed with

our debit cards.. as you can see in this picture, always

needs a card in her hands. at least the movie gallery

card is working FOR NOW!

Nothin a Cookie Cant Fix

I really do try my hardest not to cave when Lexi

throws a fit because i do not want her to think that

if she screams long enough she will eventually get what

she was going for. but sometimes for my own sake

i give her anything! i know, its an awful thing. but its

much better than what would happen if i listened to

screaming for another minute, right? A chocolate

chip cookie sure seemed to do the trick...

As you can see, she even still has big tears in

her eyes.. but things are starting to turn around

I dont really know why i'm still getting this

glare.. she is enjoying her cookie by now..

Guitar Hero Fun

Well Cody and I had to talk in sacrament

yesterday, and really didn't want everyone

there since we were already nervous enough.

(sorry to those of you mad at us!)

So we asked Jacque to watch Lexi since we knew

they wouldn't be able to go to church anyways

with Jackson, And guess what?! Lexi was

good for her!! YAY! anyways after we

celebrated being done with hanging out

and some guitar hero!

Ayla and Lexi are starting to like playing

together! its so fun to watch them!

Jackson Finally came! yay! lexi and i had a girls

day and went to see him while cody added our

dishwasher (YES!) but anyways the trip wasn't

so successful since lexi has to be held by me at

all times, and when i did try to hold jackson

lexi just screamed...FUN FOR EVERYONE!

so we stopped again later with cody and actually

got to enjoy the baby! lexi liked him this time

too, since she could be in the comfort of her

daddy's arms the whole time!

Lexi's first time playing in the snow,

usually when we walk outside and its snowing

we cover her head with the blanket but she just

rips it off and looks straight up into the snowflakes

and just smiles, so we figured she might like to

play in it, and she sure did!

Everyone is lexi's jungle gym, but she really loves

climbing all over grandpa and getting his glasses.

Madi and Lexi didn't need toys or entertainment...

Kiwi's Baptism

Our Sweet LITTLE Kiwi is already 8, and

got baptized on saturday! You can tell how loved she

is by EVERYONE showing up to support her!

The long awaited update!

i know its been about a month since i did my last

update, as everyone as reminded me frequently..

but we didn't have the internet yet... and were trying

to redo our house with maintaining some level of

sanity. so sorry about the wait, but things are finally

getting back to normal! This is me and the bug

picking out which red is the best! i have to say to anyone

going to paint GET SAMPLES FIRST! only one of the reds

that we had narrowed it down to worked. one of them

actually looked hot pink... that could have been tragic.

And no the gray/blue color isn't what we painted, its the

primer. Thanks to brew tyson cody and my dad they got

the whole upstairs primed in a day! THANK YOU!! and

of course their wives because the kids are really a handful!

For Christmas lexi got some fingerpaints, to put her hand

and footprints on a cute poem from her and her dad. and we

decided to try and use them one day.. the only problem is the

paper is the only place that she didn't want to paint.

Everything else seemed like fair game to her... and as everyone

knows she's pretty "out there" as ashley says, she knows what

she wants and well is determined to get it.

This was the first day of the bloody tooth, our little
explorer tends to fall on her face a lot and started bleeding
out of her gums where she has a tooth coming in.. since then
every time she falls it starts bleeding again its real sad for her.
This was after some of the blood got wiped up, but you get the idea.
her first battle wound...
This is lexi's version of sharing, she likes to offer it,
but if you take it out of her hands there is heck to pay...
only she can feed you. and when she is eating she only takes
a bite if you take a bite of what she's offering. and with
every drink she takes you have to take one as well.

she's starting to enjoy watching nemo... its bad to say
but it really can be a nice break!

Lexi's First Christmas

We had a wonderful christmas. We're lucky to

have both families so close to be able to spend christmas

eve with the Petersens and christmas day with the Winns.

Michael Scott (The Office) says "presents are a great way to

show someone how much care about them, its like your saying

i love you this many dollar's worth" thats funny but definately

NOT true. however lexi sure was spoiled by people who love her

and we sure are grateful. And we want to thank everyone for

all the fun toys and cute clothes. She has spent the whole day

banging her drums (thanks nicole and ray) opening and

closing her noisy book (thanks grandpa, Cody and I both have pooh

bear phrases stuck in our head) wrestling her blow up penguin

(thanks grandma) brushing the indestructable butterflies teeth (thanks Nana)

chasing her light up ball (thanks great grandma/grandpa winn)

Dressing up in her cute dresses from Heaths and Nielsens,

and snuggling up in her cute pj's from Madi & Halli.

Could she look anymore pleased to get kisses from her daddy?

She already loves playing dress ups, she's wearing tess's fluffy

pink scarf, and wouldn't take it off! HOLY COW! FINGER PAINTS!!
madi was thrilled to get her puppy from Jess.

She was cute and had to wrap her present to lexi

herself! the box with the ball of wrapping paper

crinkled and taped on top was adorable!

She was also willing to share her Mountain Dew

with Lexi.... only a few more years :)

a while to get over the fact that the wrapping

paper was being thrown on the ground, but

once she did, she was throwing the paper

on the ground herself and trying to get into

the boxes to eat the tag on her clothes.

what an adventure for us!
I'm pretty sure that we're santa's favorite every year,
Lexi was lucky to have something shiny in front of
her to keep her attention. And Ayla was fantastic
for santa. However Madi and Kiara want everyone to
know that Santa is a fake, they saw him get in his truck
to drive home, and take off his beard... Dont waste
your wishlist with that santa!
Lexi was quite fine with the fake though.
We couldn't get a picture of her looking at us,
because she was really fascinated with his beard
and bent her neck all the way backwards to see him.

Six months going on Sixteen! This is

our little co-pilot, one of the advantages
